Rites of Passage at SNUUC

Weddings
Our Minister officiates at wedding ceremonies for members and non-members, Unitarian Universalists and others. Interfaith wedding ceremonies and same-sex ceremonies are also available. Each ceremony is uniquely created with the couple's input and reflects the unique nature of each relationship. Ceremonies may take place at SNUUC or at a venue of choice.

Child Dedications
Our children are welcomed into the community with these short ritual ceremonies. If chosen, the child may also be named as part of the ceremony. Ceremonies may take place during Sunday service at SNUUC or at a venue of the family's choice.

Funerals and Memorial Services
Our minister will perform funeral and memorial services, graveside services, and interment of ashes. The family will be consulted as the service is put together and family and friends will have a chance to speak.
